 | After a background in product design and managing a speed shop,
I started E.T. Performance Products in November 1985.
Our first product was called the E.T. Performance Timer (precursor to the
G-Tech Performance Meter) and we gradually built up a range of Street Machine orientated products. Our company now stocks nearly 5,000 part numbers and employs 10 staff from warehouse in Reservoir. | We purchased the High Energy Oil Pans business in 1989 and we continue to be one of the few performance parts wholesalers that actually manufactures its own products. High Energy Oil Pans has become the leader in its field supplying most major racing categories in Australia including V8 Supercar teams.
In 2008 Autocaps (Aust.) Pty. Ltd. decided to expand into the accessory and performance parts business and purchased E. T. Performance Products and moved the entire stock into their 4,500 square meter factory in Reservoir. Autocaps have been in business for 75 years and produce many well known products including the CPC range of radiator and oil caps. They are also a TS accredited supplier to Holden, Ford and Toyota.
Our philosophy has always been to develop a high quality product range that would appeal to a broad range of performance enthusiasts. We have certainly seen some big changes in that market with the emphasis changing from V8 powered cars to the hugely popular Japanese Import scene. This new catalogue reflects that change with the first section dedicated to Japanese Imports, the second section to late model Australian Performance Cars (namely the SS Inductions range), with the third section listing our range of parts for the traditional V8 performance market.
